The popular Pukeko Junction Cafe & Deli is too tempting to drive by during the weekend bustle. Midweek, it also provides an opportunity to experience fabulous homemade food among the serene surroundings of North Canterbury. Owners Celine & Guy Graham won the peoples choice award for the 2016 New Zealand cafe of the year in the Canterbury region and the proof is certainly in the pudding – The slow braised melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank pies, hot smoked salmon & eggs benedict, and lemon slice with a dollop of cream – just a few of the sumptuous offerings.
Pukeko Junction Cafe & Deli today announced that it has received another Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award for 2016 for the 3rd year in a row.
Between December 2007 and December 2008 a number of enthusiastic individuals met regularly with the objective of developing a series of trails in the Hurunui based on existing parts of rail and road networks, some currently disused, with the intention of creating new trails. The major goal is to establish a network of trails suitable for pedestrians and cyclists covering the Hurunui District from Leithfield to Waiau.
Consistencey, service, food & flavours are the ingredients that Guy & Celine Graham lovingly serve up at the Pukeko Junction Cafe & Deli at Leithfield. This recipe has once again brought them success. Guy & Celine for the third year in a row, are celebrating receiving the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, an achievement for earning great traveller reviews on Trip Advisor over the past year.
